RHIT Scholarship Idaho Health Information Management Association (IdHIMA) is dedicated to promoting Health Information Management (HIM) and assisting HIM specialists in their professional development. IdHIMA, is therefore offering two $229 scholarships to be applied toward the fee for the RHIT exam. Health Information Technology students graduating in 2010 are eligible and are encouraged to apply.
Applications for 2010 must be submitted online by, or postmarked no later than
March 6, 2010 . Recipients will be announced at IdHIMA's annual convention held in Boise. How To ApplyStep 1: Complete the attached application form (open in Word). As indicated on the application, write a letter outlining your reasons for applying for this scholarship, your post graduation plans, and the contributions you hope to make to the health information management profession.
Step 2: Make a copy of your application and letter. Send the original to the address noted on the application by the deadline. Keep a copy for your records.
Step 3: All applications will be reviewed by the RHIT Exam Scholarship Committee. Two applicants will be selected to receive the scholarship.
Step 4: After review of applications and selection of the scholarship recipients, all applicants will be notified as to the status of their request.
Step 5: The RHIT Exam Scholarship will be awarded at IdHIMA's annual convention. All students are welcome to attend. A special invitation will be extended to the scholarship winners.
